Ammad Farooq holds a Master's degree in Information Security from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) and is currently leading the Cyber Security Program at the Institute of Regional Studies, Islamabad. His research interests lie in the fields of cyber security, artificial intelligence, deep learning, internet of things(IoTs) and cyber warfare. He is also responsible for providing research and policy recommendations in the cyber security domain. Ammad is passionate about staying abreast of the latest advancements in the cyber security landscape and strives to provide meaningful insights into the same.
In addition to his leadership role at the Institute of Regional Studies, Ammad Farooq is an active security researcher at Hackerone, with significant experience in a variety of cyber security tools and development methodologies. His diverse experience includes stints as a developer with various tech companies. Ammad's broad knowledge and experience give him a unique perspective on the complex interplay between security, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
